Meet Tommy!
Say hello to this handsome hunk of a dog! Tommy may be big, but his heart is bigger. This fella came to us from Georgia looking for a fresh start and a home to call his own. He'll be the perfect partner to an active family that loves to go on adventures.
Tommy gets overlooked often due to his behavior in the kennel and the way he looks. Deep down, he's a sweetheart that just wants to be loved. He's been extremely receptive to basic training, learning quickly to sit when approached in his kennel and not jump when greeted. Tommy is very treat motivated and eager to please, so we think that some extra obedience training should be a piece of cake for him!
In the kennel, Tommy has shown some reactivity to other dogs, but has previously played with dogs his size. We believe he is good with other pups as long as they are a match in both size and energy, but it is important to note that barriers/leashes can have an impact on his interactions! He has not been tested with cats or children.
